Does Smoking Pot Cause Man Boobs

Gynecomastia, otherwise known as man boobs (or moobs for short), is a condition that affects approximately 33% to 41% of men between the ages of 25 and 45. It's even more common during puberty, affecting 60% of 14-year-old boys. Interestingly, it also affects 55% to 60% of men aged 50 and older.
Can smoking pot really give you man boobs? Probably. Although the association between marijuana and gynecomastia hasn't been conclusively proven, it appears very plausible. For this reason, the majority of plastic surgeons I've consulted with their gynecomastia patients about cannabis use and recommend they stop smoking pot immediately.
In humans, the effects of marijuana on testosterone and estrogen levels aren't as clear. Lower testosterone levels have been reported in chronic marijuana users compared to nonusers, but not all studies support this.Few studies have examined a direct causative effect between smoking marijuana and gynecomastia. A report in 1972 made the initial connection between cannabis and gynecomastia. This study is contrasted with a 1977 survey of U.S. Army soldiers which showed no association between smoking marijuana and gynecomastia. This study was limited, however, due to its very small sample size.
So I suggest that if you have man boobs, it's probably best to put out that joint. :/ -Gotten from CNN News

Pittsburg Shooting

Three teenage boys were wounded on Wednesday when a 16-year-old allegedly opened fire near a Pittsburgh high school in a bid to exact revenge for a fight that took place at the school a month ago, police said.
Sometimes I wonder what the generation of today thinks about. Why would you shoot someone- let alone kill them? Dude, you're only sixteen years old. You have your whole life ahead of you and you're willing to mess that up by doing something so ignorant.
The three victims, one aged 16 and two aged 17, were not cooperating with investigators, police said. The head of Pittsburgh Emergency Medical Services, Mark Bocian, said their injuries were not life-threatening.
Really? If that was me I would tell. If I almost die then I'll almost keep my mouth shut. Almost. To me this is the outcome to most fights nowadays but why? Some people just do too much and the most. It's bad enough that your fighting with fists, but taking a gun and shooting someone? What makes it worse is that it was over some drugs and a targeted shooting-he intended on going to that area specifically to target those 3 young men. You shouldn't be doing drugs anyways! Now look at you. It seems like everywhere you go there's violence. You have to walk to the store dang there paranoid for your health! It's ridiculous and heartrending to even think about. All that I'm saying is that if those boys made him that mad to the point whereas he had to shoot them then he should've just walked away and isolated himself from the boys. Mow not only is he isolated from the boys, but he's also isolated from the world. That is, beside the ones that are isolated with him.

Texas Abortion Law

What's Going On? Some of the strictest abortion restrictions in the country have been tossed out just one day before they took effect in Texas. A federal judge states that some of the parts of the new Texas rule are unconstitutional because that would make abortion receivements far from possible. Doctors would need privileges of admit at a hospital within 30 miles of any abortion clinic, plus, they would have to follow strict rules for pill-induced medical abortions. The law took hold of an almost 13-hour filibuster by State Senator Wendy Davis, who is currently running for governor, and prompted a protest when lawmakers tried to vote back in June about the law. Of course, though, planned parenthood and abortion providers in the state challenged the law, but the attorney general claimed it as necessary to protect women, and the life of a fetus. Texas Governor Rick Perry commented on the ruling, saying in a statement, "Today's decision will not stop our ongoing efforts to protect life and ensure the women of our state aren't exposed to any more of the abortion-mill horror stories that have made headlines recently ... We will continue fighting to implement the laws passed by the duly-elected officials of our state, wills that reflect the laws and values of Texas." Meanwhile, senior legal analyst Jeffrey Toobin says, "The Supreme Court has said about abortion that a law cannot be an undue burden on the rights of women. What this judge decided in Texas was that the idea that all the doctors in a given clinic have to have admitting privileges at a local hospital would have required about two-thirds of the current abortion clinics in Texas to close, and that, he said, was not medically justified and an undue burden on the right of women to have abortions in Texas. So it was unconstitutional." In addition, the law also bans abortion after 20 weeks of pregnancy, and there is uncertaintity that that part of the law will be maintain. It si said that Governor Perry, and Texas state Attorney General Jim Abbott, who is also a candidate for governor, will appeal this decision to the fifth circuit court of appeals. What I Think? I honestly am not a fan of abortions because, to me, I think it's just like poisoning a person to death-which is murder. Though this, in some cases I think that abortion would be at least a little bit acceptable. Perhaps if someone was to get raped, impregnated by it, and choose not to have a baby of a rapist, that'll be understandable to a certain degree. Now that I thought about it, that's the only case, to me, whereas it would be acceptable. For any other reasons like "I wasn't ready" or "My dad will kill me"- just stick with adoption. I cannot seem to understand how can people who do have abortions (for stupid reasons) sleep at night. You basically just murdered someone; someone who didn't even have a chance to live and see the world; someone who had their whole life ahead of them. I'm not implying that I'm going to hate everyone that has or have had an abortion because my wrong reason could be their right reason. I'm just saying that if you can't raise, don't spread-simple as that.

To Be or Not to Be A Lioness

I remember when I was little I had the wildest imagination, most stupid beliefs, and impossible wants. One want I recall was to be lion. I wanted to be one so bad that it was almost to the point whereas I needed to be one. There were times where I would crawl on the floor in the hallway of my house. My mom would get mad because that would always leave a good mark for me to remember by-a whole in my jeans. I don't know how many pairs of jeans she had to buy me a month. Another thing she used to fuss about was all of the ruckus I use to cause. Whenever I crawled my knees would stomp and make a lot of noise and she said it gave her headaches, roared over the tv, and vibrated off the walls. Was it really that loud? Another thing I use to do was roar. I'll walk-oops, I mean crawl- around the house and roar. You know, I still had the little baby voice going on so it wasn't where I wanted it to be but it was enough to make my siblings go crazy. They use to scream "Shut up!" and "Be quiet!" every once in a while. It even got to the point where they locked me in my room or the closet. I remember how bad I wanted to watch Lion King over and over and over again. That was my childhood movie. I used to practically force my siblings to put it in and cried whenever they refused to. My movie crave had gotten so bad that I use to take that movie with me everywhere I went. I use to carry this little backpack and have that, and only that, in it and took it everywhere I went just in case of an "emergency." I'm glad that my lion days are over because if it wasn't, I'll be one heck of a person.

Edu-ma-cation!

Education can have plenty of affects on people. It can open the person up to new ideas, build their knowledge, and broaden their thinking. Sometimes it can even have an affect on what you believe in if you happen to find a new truth and is very interested in it. However, if a person doesn't look closely into what they receiving, then education will not improve the mind. A lot of people fail to realize that education offer us more possibilities and choices. They live off of that moronic qoute, "It's not what you know, it's who you know" and think that they will pass through life with a breeze, and let us not forget think that will soon receive all of the money in the world. Will the person you know get you into college with a degree to leave with? Will the person go with you to an interview with the saying of you getting the occupation you're applying for? But most importantly, are you willing to share that check with the person? It is true that sometimes it is who you know. At odds, when it's time for school and a job, that particular person will not be there to help you throughout the whole thing. Because of the fact that's it's such a beautiful thing in the world, the most at best, education is a job that you have to work hard to keep. You have to mentally lock it up and test it everyday in order for it to stay there and be ready to use whenever needed; you have to choose wisely what and what not to take in, learn from, and use; you have to take it as a way to create new ideas and to see things above other people; but most importantly, you have to be willing to share it. There was never an understanding as to why people feel the need to make people feel inferior to them education wise. Whenever you find that someone isn't as academically stable as you, don't sit there and try to make a fool of them and snicker; help them out. Don't ever let a person walk out of the room with the same knowing as when they walked in, especially if it wasn't any to start with. If it take all day then so be it; you'll just be MLK and they are the citizens of Washington. You cannot rush knowledge, you can only be patient. When receiving education, you have to mentally take notes and point out the things that are relevent and irrelevant. Sit there and ask yourself Do I need this? Will this help me in the long-run? Will this help me achieve my goals in life? To the uneducated, an A is just three sticks. ~A.A. Milne

Just a Random Poem in the Makings

When worlds collide Who is there to seperate them? When people souls are eaten up Who will admit that they ate them? Is it you? Is it me? Just some random questions. A random poem in the makings. If I slip and fall Should I feel so bad that I'm sad Or should I just laugh and be glad? "Glad" because I know I'll learn from my mistakes from the past. Will I learn if someone thoroughly hold my hand and walk me through. No challenges, no mistakes, no way I can fail so I can learn. Which means I can't be glad and just laugh Because there's no learning from my past. There'll just be help. A lot of help. I'll weather learn than to get help and take the easy way out. Is that wrong? Just some random questions. A random poem in the makings. If everyone in the world Acted the same Will we have friends Or will we dislike each other because we're so much alike. Will we hate each other so much to point whereas mating wouldn't happen? No kids, no parents, no grandparents, and no big responsibility. No responsiblity! People don't want any responsibility. Does that mean they do not want any kids? Will Jesus be born? Will our celebs be born? Most importantly, will we be born? Just some random qustions. A random poem in the makings.
